F.A.Q.

When do I need to have a registered company?

You only need a registered company when you start selling paid products on Tixmondo. That’s because payouts cannot be made to private individuals under fiscal regulations — all revenues from ticket sales, subscriptions, or vouchers must be invoiced and legally settled to a company (for example, an SRL, PFA, or other legal entity depending on your country).

Until then, you can fully use Tixmondo for free products such as membership cards, community subscriptions, or invitations. These don’t involve money transfers, so you don’t need a legal entity.

Example:

  • If you want to create a free membership club for your gym clients, you don’t need a company.

  • If you want to sell event tickets and collect money from customers, then you need a registered company, because Tixmondo transfers revenues only to verified legal entities.

This way, you can start building your audience and community right away, and once you are ready to monetize, you can upgrade by registering your business.
